CONCEPT Radiance Village is an approximately 75-story high structure inspired by Babel-IIB, my favorite arcology design of Italian architect Paolo Soleri. While not a true arcology due to its much lower population density, it still maintains the basic arcology concept of a single building that contains an entire community. Radiance Village has a population density of 116 people per hectare, close to that of New York City. It is set an an era a few centuries from now when advanced hovercraft have largely replaced ground transportation for many uses.
