THE NIMRITHI The Nimrithi are sentient four-legged, eight-armed undersea creatures that vaguely resemble an octopus. They are water breathers and have male and female sexes.  The typical lifetime of a Nimrithi is around 100 years.  The Nimrithi act in Human-like ways, sometimes being territorial and aggressive and other times willing to be cooperative in order to achieve their objectives.  This sentient species is inspired by the aliens depicted in the 1944 short story Arena by science fiction author Fredric Brown.
