6. SEEING IT ALL / AN INTENSIVE TOUR Tours of the interior and exterior of the Leviathan are given regularly. Visitors interested in participating should see their Shipboard Guides. All other visitors are expected to stay out of Zone A unless on a guided tour, visiting a scientist, or attending a lecture. Visitors should be aware that decks C8-C12 are oriented upside down from decks C1-C7. Visitors are strictly prohibited from Zone D unless on a guided tour. The ship's main control center (see Illustrations 28 and 29) is located in Zone D which can separate from the rest of the ship for use as a lifeboat for the command staff. When so used, Zone D directs evacuation operations and defends other lifeboats from attack. Visitors are strictly prohibited from the entire Engineering Section unless on a guided tour. Since Zone G contains the most dangerous and sensitive areas of the ship, reprimands for trespassing into this section are more severe than those for other prohibited areas of the ship.
